JOB DESCRIPTION
Microsoft is looking for candidates to contribute to software development, debugging, testing, and infrastructure-related engineering work. The role involves writing maintainable code, working with Microsoft data technologies, following security practices, and using AI-assisted development tools.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write, maintain, debug, and test efficient, maintainable software code.
- Work with Azure Data, Microsoft Fabric, and Spark infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software security best practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve software quality.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Associate's degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus 6+ months of coding work or internship experience, or equivalent experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
- Coding experience in at least one of the following: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This is not a strict zero-experience fresher role. Candidates should have at least 6 months of coding work or internship experience, or equivalent experience, as specified in the eligibility criteria.
